The spirit of Laisse le bon temps rouler lasts year round at Razzoo's Cajun Cafe. I have frequented this restaurant for years during happy hour for the drink specials and cheap eats. The popcorn shrimp with cherry mustard sauce and cajun fondue with crawfish are my favorite happy hour eats.

Things to know before you go:

Po Boy Tuesdays you get your choice of a po boy sandwich and a fountain beverage for $8.
Salad Wednesdays you get your choice of a salad and a fountain beverage for $8.

If it's one of those days where you're wanting something a bit more than a fountain beverage then here's a pro tip for you. Go to Razzoo's at about 2:30. Put in your order for your po boy or salad and stay through 3 o'clock when happy hour begins. You'll get $2 off select cocktails like the blackberry mojito, tipsy cobbler, NOLA tea and the lemon drop martini to name a few as well as being able to enjoy specially priced appetizers.

One of the things that I love about Razzoo's is how customizable the menu is. The way their food is prepared allows you to make a dish that fits you. You can order your crawfish mild or spicy. You can add or take away the corn. Want sausage in your crawfish? They can do that for you. All you have to do is ask. Many of their dishes can have the sauces switched out, level of spice catered to your taste and things added or taken away like sausage. The possibilities are endless.
